Ecellent series. I am a 67 year old golfer, and i am defenitely one of the golfers that are tense when swinging my clubs.
I have not had an opportunity to try these tips on the range as yet, but have started practicing in my garden, and I can feel the difference in my balance and position at follow through, and it seems a lot less stressful on my back I am looking forward to hitting some balls on the range, and hopefully start hitting better shots. Unfortunately it is driving wind and rain in sunny Scotland at preseent……
Wonderful! Aside from the weather 🙂
I’m 75 year old golfer and this is last chance saloon ,I’ve tried numerous swing methods slight improvement but it never lasts . Tried 7 iron and a bucket of balls at the range ,encouraging, lovely sound , nice flight distance not great but such an easy swing. My long term goal is single figure h/cap 9.4 will fir an old guy. David in frosty Scotland.
Hi David. Yes.. start blending some structure as well as as natural free flow swings… results should follow. And remember.. react to the target and use the S.I.M.P.L.E process on each shot. Keep at it!
i watched this series over the last couple days, then went out and played this morning with my goal being to play with no technical thoughts and just swing nice and easy and feel the ‘heavy arms’ feeling. I hit some of the best drives I’ve ever hit, including one of 304 yards (downhill, down wind) and hit just about every shot solid. 4 birdies on the back 9 for a 32, my lowest 9 ever! And after the round, I’m not tired and my back doesn’t hurt. Thanks Alex. i’ll continue to follow your process.
Well that’s great to hear thanks! It really can be very effective and i’m glad to have pointed you in the right direction. Keep at it!
