THE SET-UP:
Looking at common mistakes at set up that cause strike issues. Also includes the perfect process to get the correct set up to allow you to get consistent ball striking.
THE GRIP:
Looking at poor placement at set up that cause strike issues. This also links to the knock on affects during the swing that makes ball striking difficult. Also includes the perfect process to get the correct grip to allow you to get consistent ball striking.
THE TAKEAWAY:
Looking at common mistakes in the takeaway that cause strike issues. We also describe the normal compensations that happen with poor takeaways. Also includes the perfect process to get the correct takeaway to allow you to get consistent ball striking.
TOP OF BACKSWING:
In this video we look at the backswing structure and angular positions that cause problems with ball striking. Alistair links these positions back to impact to join up the dots to explain why you can get contact issues. The video also includes the perfect process to get you in the correct top of the backswing positions to allow you to get consistent ball striking.
START DOWN:
In this video we focus on the pressure shifts that cause strike issues, we also look at the lever system and relate that to angle of attack. Also includes the perfect process to get the correct move down to allow you to get consistent ball striking.
DELIVERY:
In this video we focus on the direction of the swing and the elbow to hand relationship. This is key when trying to achieve the correct hand action through the hitting area. We also share the process to get the delivery position on point.
IMPACT:
In this video we look at the moment of truth… the impact position. We look at where to hit the ball in the face of the club, the correct launch and angle of attack and how this is produced. We also share a great exercise to get you in a better impact position consistently.
POST IMPACT:
In this video we look at the structure of the arms and the radius of the swing. We share what we commonly see with recreational golfers and how to start improving your structure and pressure on the ball.
STRIKING THE DRIVER SOLID:
Most golfers struggle to understand the swing differences with irons to drivers, in this video we discuss the only changes I want you to make with the driver. We also include a great practice drill specifically for the driver to help ball striking.
DRILL#1:
This is the best practice drill to help feel the elbow and hand delivery positions into the impact area. The best thing about this drill is it can be done at home also. This is what I call a vitamin drill as in it would never do anyone any harm, only improve how they move regardless of their individual movement pattern.
DRILL #2 – DIGGING THE DIRT:
In this video we share the 3-step process to better ball striking, these dills will allow you to feel and produce consistent ball and turf interaction.
