HOW TO USE ‘THE S.I.M.P.L.E PROCESS’ FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS
Start by watching the introduction below…
How to get the most out of the S.I.M.P.L.E
Set aside FOCUSED Learning Time (with no distractions!
Then you’ll need further time to execute the tasks and process on the range or at home in pre shot practice.
Unfortunately we have no way of estimating how long YOU (specifically) will take. So a conservative estimate would be a few hours per week. Now decide on when you can fit (schedule in!) time in for:
the training,
to PUT INTO PRACTICE
To USE ON THE COURSE
Now here is a main point I want you to have for the entire series…
Absorb it all. DO NOT just watch the videos.
There is a reason we have the supporting graphics, text and other cited videos or images.
We have spent months researching how we and indeed you as a golfing human learn best.
So there is a reason every item is there. And in order too!
So do not just skip… Do not think you need to only take in the lessons with the P (practice and prediction) for example… Because you will not succeed.
You are here because you want to see real long lasting change.
Trust me.
One lesson at a time.
And in this case, one letter at a time.
For example; Until you have gone through each part of lesson 1;
S (Strategy)…
Read, watched and absorbed each part, done the tasks at home, on the range and also put into action on the course, for every single shot. I do not want you going to the next lesson 2 which is “I” (intermediate point).
Golf is a game of confidence. If you can simplify golf, you can simplify life.
Imagine approaching the first tee, and consistently drive the ball 200+ yards to the exact spot your mind’s eye visualized. You’d probably start to feel like Tiger Woods!
Falling into the trap of the hyper-technology, swing quick-fixes, and over-complication, golfers have become a slave to the game of golf. What ever happened to just playing? Picking a target, lining up the shot, and firing.
Our goal is to get golfers playing more consistent golf, hitting longer drives, shooting lower scores, feel better, play better, and enjoy golf, once again.
It’s no secret that golf has become an over-complicated game for players and coaches alike, you only need to do a quick search online for golf backswing tips and you will be bombarded with, one plane and two plane golf swings, training aids, DVD’s and equipment that promises to give you the “Perfect Golf Swing“.
But that is absolute rubbish. Im sure you have realized that by now because despite your best efforts you have not seen significant improvement.
It’s not your fault though!
The over complicated swing instruction methods have your best interests at heart, but as I alluded to earlier, they are still stuck in the “golf instruction paradigm blindness” and only give you what the industry dictates again and again.
And that’s why the SIMPLE golf process was born
Now let’s get cracking!

THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT ALL
Strategy… It is imperative that you have one for every drive, iron, chip and putt, otherwise you are just not giving yourself a correct task to try and achieve.
For example, I said to you to throw the basketball into the net from the free throw line for $1000, you would know exactly what you need to do. Whether you are LeBron or not, your instinct, reactions and calculations happen in split second in the brain to react to the task given.
NOT the other way round.
Meaning, Bend knees, pivot body, hold the ball with both hands, flex wrist as you take the ball back with momentum and allow hinging of the elbows, now, accelerate through and release applying supple wrists to impart backspin on the ball… Get the picture?
———
Before I go into why it’s important, neh, crucial for your golf game, let’s discuss a bit how the brain works and why, focussed tasks and how forms of “multitasking” affects us negatively. Like too many swing thoughts and trying to hit it where you want.
When the brain tries to do two things at once, it divides and conquers, dedicating one-half of our gray matter to each task, new research shows. But forget about adding another mentally taxing task: The work also reveals that the brain can’t effectively handle more than two complex, related activities at once.
To find out, neuroscientists Etienne Koechlin and Sylvain Charron of the French biomedical research agency INSERM in Paris turned to functional magnetic resonance imaging, which measures changes in brain activity. They monitored 16 women and 16 men, aged 19 to 32, as they performed a complicated letter-matching task. Shown letters pulled at random from the word “tablet” on a computer screen, volunteers had to determine whether two successive letters (either all lowercase or all uppercase) appeared in the same order as they do in the word. To multitask, they also had to deal with uppercase and lowercase letters at the same time, matching them to either all uppercase or all lowercase words. The volunteers received a small amount of money if they performed well.
“In terms of everyday behavior, you can cook and talk on the phone at the same time,” Koechlin explains. “The problem arises when you pursue three goals at the same time. Your prefrontal cortex will always discard one.”
———————–
What this is saying in terms of golf is that, with all that is going on…
The weather, Friends chatting, The swing and it’s many many facets and, Most likely several swing thoughts and positions you have in your head, The shot you are facing, Trouble to avoid (bunkers, tress, rough etc), Bad shot memories
——-
You must be clear in what you want to achieve.
Be Your Own Caddie
What does that mean? It means you are in your own corner as an advisor, confident booster and decision maker.
For example to be your caddie you can;
Pick yourself up after a bad shot or hole, Choose the right club for safety, Warm up properly, Read the green correctly, Smart choices on the course, Encouragement.
So to see a very instant and drastic change in your consistency on the course and the scores you are shooting, be your own caddie.
You may not have a world class caddie on your bag but you can learn a lot from this… It takes a little patience, but it’s huge. When you tinker with your swing during a round of golf, not only do your mechanics tend to get worse, but you also lose sight of your objective—to play the game of golf. When you get wrapped up in swing fundamentals on the course, you’re not playing golf, you’re playing golf swing.
FOR THE SHORT GAME
The legend that is Harvey Penick with his simple golf tips and golf lessons are starting to finally prove more valuable for the majority of golfers as time goes on more so than the overly complicated and latest high tech modern golf instruction that seems so prevalent today and which is holding too many recreational golfers back from not only improving but hindering the enjoyment of the game which is the real tragedy.
What I mean by taking dead aim is refining and narrowing your focus and objective target.
For chip, lob, bunker shot
- Assess the lie
- Decide the type of shot (bump and run, lob, regular etc)
- Choose the club
- Choose the landing spot and roll allowance
For a putt
- Decide if you are going to let the putt die in or firm
- See the main factor slopes (see below)
- Gauge the distance and line.
***Quick tips for green reading;
Slope, topographical features such as water and mountains, the grain of the grass, and (perhaps most important) how hard you hit the ball dictate the break. First, find the natural slope of the terrain:
|
ON THE COURSE
Do you know a “sucker pin” when you see one?
It’s tucked behind a bunker or water hazard, or maybe perched on the tiniest shelf of a two-tiered green. Perhaps it sits at the bottom of a large slope, with trouble lurking dangerously close in the other direction.
Basically, a sucker pin is any location where the risk-reward equation doesn’t add up in your favor. If you take dead aim at a sucker pin, there’s usually a big penalty for a minor mistake.
The flip side is, there’s often plenty of room to play it safe. (Hence the term.)
Here’s an example:
- The flag is cut on the green’s front right portion, just a few paces beyond a large bunker.
- To reach the pin you must carry the bunker, with little room to land and stop the ball even if you succeed.
- The center of the green lies left of the pin, and the front of the green is hazard-free. A shot to the “fat” of the green not only takes the bunker out of play (assuming you execute well), it leaves a putt of no more than 30 feet.
Even if you pull off the hero shot, your chances of making birdie are only slightly better than if you play to the middle of the green. And the penalty for a miss is much, much worse. Only a sucker would take that risk.
There are 5 main steps to go through for strategy for every shot… they will just differ slightly depending on whether it’s a tee shot, iron to the green, chip or pitch and a putt.
And remember, this is not a time consuming thing.
But before we break down the steps, let me walk you through what goes on in my head…
So I’m standing behind a shot and for example purposes let’s say we have 180 yards from the fairway.
I look for the main danger points first to get them out the way and become less of a focus but it’s also important to pay attention to in shot and club choice.
The trouble is mainly a bunker on the short right.
A raised green with some trees on the left of that slope.
The flag is on the left side of the green on a back tier.
I have been hitting it a little high and right today on a few shots… so I want to feel the opposite here.
So the shot I want to hit with the wind fairly brisk in my face is I low draw… that’s the type of feel I want to hit I don’t want the ball ballooning up in the sky and ending short on the tier green orinto the bunker.
I want to have a penetrating ball flight through the wind to the center of the green.
If I get a little bit of draw perfect… if not it’s fine because the middle of the green is great!
I’m also going to take one extra club to be sure sure that I get to back of green and to swing smoother, so the spin stays low and allow for a slight miss strike.
That feels good to me.
I see that in my mind to a degree and I feel it, I manifest that shot happening.
See…
Just a few things like you are own caddie and being precise.
NO MATTER YOUR LEVEL YOU MUST DO THIS.
DO NOT JUST THINK I WANT TO HIT IT SOLID OR I WANT TO HIT THE GREEN.
More precise and clearer the better.
So let’s break this down in the 5 steps for a few different clubs.
For a drive
- Choose target area
- Distance to target area
- Wind
- Swing performance that day
- Shot shape you want to hit… High, low, fad , draw, allow for slice etc.
For a green approach
- Are you going for fat part of green or to the flag
- Wind direction and strength
- Lie, gradient
- Shot shape you want to hit… High, low, fade , draw, allow for slice etc.
- Choose club that will get you there with AVERAGE strike not your perfect strike
No sexy golf” —- in other words, do what is logical, not what seems sexy and daring. 350 yard par 4: 6 iron (170) 6 iron (170) — now you’re on the fringe safely in two. Chip or putt close for par and you never touched a wood. No Sexy Golf…. Safe and easy wins the low round
To make better decisions concerning when and when not to go for the flag, divide your clubs into three categories: 1) play it safe, 2) proceed with caution and 3) go for it.
Height
Shape
Distance
So there we have the conclusion of the Strategy.
Now I want you to re read, watch and soak it all in.
Now I want you pay attention to each single shot you have.
Choose the line, flight, height and be smart in the goal.
Club choice is crucial….

EXPLANATION AND PRACTICE
The goal of the intermediate point is to help you setup your golf swing to FIT the picture/shot you just called. That’s it. As you vision is compromised by standing sideways..
This is where you focus your alignment.
And in golf we can limit ourselves very easily and too many of us do it… So it’s time to make it easier!!
An intermediate target is a real or imagined point on the target line between the ball and the target.
It could be;
- a divot,
- a small twig,
- pebble,
- a blade of grass
- a leaf
- And when you are getting used to this, I tell people to stick a teel peg down or your ball marker
Improving your alignment on the golf course can be accomplished by following two steps: practicing on the driving range with alignment aids and using an intermediate target to establish your alignment when you play.
It’s easier to line up on a driving range, you can either lay a club down or the mat is lined up.. It’s all there. So in a way, we get lazy.
It’s so so rare for me to see anyone practicing on the range and actually lining up their shots.
When we are on the course, we have to put in extra effort… there are lots of things knocking us off line.
It’s hard even for the pros to stand square and line up… It’s now banned though.
Do not make the mistake here of thinking you don’t need to try and be so precise because you are not a single figure golfer or anything… The more precise you are the better… Because you are telling your brain and body exactly what you want to do. If you think “just hit the ball”, if you are off a few % there, the results can be disastrous but if you are focussed on hitting a leaf 200 yards away, margin for error that hurts the end result will be minimal.
When you allow your brain to focus on a specific target it will, if you allow it perform a perfect golf swing specific to that intended target.
So like one of our other simple golf lessons on “taking dead aim” with each and every shot you hit, this takes it a one step further and helps you match the golf swing needed to hit that target with the shot shape, ball flight and trajectory that is optimal for that specific golf shot.
However, sometimes the brain can lose focus and struggles to dial in on a target that is far away… So if you make an intermediate point your main focus, you will give yourself a better chance of staying with the shot and executing a swing that delivers the desired rhythm and result that you were intending.
There is a reason Jack Nicklaus did just this.
Same goes for Justin Rose and many other PGA and Lpga Tour players. So it makes sense to use this simple golf tip to be more consistent because it has nothing to do with golf swing mechanics or instruction… It’s about letting your body focus on the objective and allowing a natural swing method to evolve.
If you watch a video of Jack Nicklaus in his prime target, intermediate point ball, intermediate point target, Intermediate Point Ball, you saw Jack’s head moving in exactly that way so he couldn’t live without that intermediate point because that’s when he needed to swing into his moving pictures.
That’s exactly what we do. We have a moving picture about where you want to start the ball, where you want the ball to end
IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT LONG SHOTS EITHER
You will notice the best players picking their spots on the tee box on tv.
But they do it on the fairways too.
I want you to apply it to every single shot.
Drive
Fairway
Pitch
Chip
Putt.
You are now dialing in everything to that point.
ON THE COURSE
PUTTING

OVERVIEW
“M” is to match your address… More than a set up
The focus of the M is to ensure that you don’t just “Set up” to the ball…
It’s so you are dynamic, stable and that your address position actually makes sense to the club you are using and the specific shot you are wanting to hit. (the shot you have already called)
No matter what…
You need to be sure that after you have followed the first 2 steps of the S.I.M.P.L.E process Strategy and Intermediate point
“To Match or not to match, that is the question”
Shakespeare was almost right…
So the question you need to ask yourself when you set up to the ball, every single time is
“Does that still FEEL like i’m matched to the shot I chose and called…
And “Does my set up match the intermediate point I chose?”…
A typical Approach is invalid
A regular set up, very rarely considers the shot style and shape.
How you set up with each club is different.
Different length and lie.
If you want to play better golf then you need to make striking good irons, consistent contact with your irons a priority goal.
That comes from swinging under control and hitting down on the ball instead of flailing away and trying to scoop it into the air–that’s the biggest fault in iron play.
Golfers who are able to hit their irons flush know they can shoot really good scores without needing to always bombing it off the tee. That’s where you need to be.
When you can get solid contact with your irons, the frequency you hit greens increases and even when you do miss the green, you will be pin high more often than not.
SET UP ALTERATIONS
ADJUSTING FOR FADES AND DRAWS, HIGH AND LOW.
I am going to keep this part real really simple.
It comes downs to your own feel really and I want you to play and practice with some tweaks to this. How much, little and where in your stance.
But as a start, use this “formula”
High and fades = More forward in your stance
Low and draws = More back in your stance.
But there are exceptions to that all the time!
So I want you to experiment with it. Including opening and hooding the face too for the feel.
For the basic ball flight rules, this image should help. Example… Fade…
- Aim a little left of your target with clubface.
- Swing along a line left of that.
- Ball starts on line of clubface
- Curves to the right and the intended target.
The real MATCHING takeaway
This is more than a waggle… this is more than what you will commonly see with many players, tour ones at that…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veyf5hatdUs
What you see in Mike and many other players do is a min feel rehearsal.. But it’s not specific to the shot they want to hit. It’s not about feeling the line and move the match the strategy or shot and the intermediate point…
It’s arbitrary. Same for every single swing and club.
It’s about trying to perfect the repeatable swing and takeaway feel.
NOT specific to that shot.
Let me show you want we mean…Again Goldilock example
Video
Now it’s time for the real deal…
The prediction and practice intent you make for each and every shot… be it 300 yards or 300 inches… you can predict and practice correctly before you pull the trigger and strike the ball.
MATCH YOUR TAKEAWAY

OVERVIEW
“P” is to predict and practice properly before each shot.
This is where we are going to practice that swing you just crafted in the first 3 stages. But we can be precise in how we want to strike the ball and how the swing actually moves without over complicating or thinking about positions..
Her is what we are going to cover and the goal of this lesson and the P.. well two “”p’s” actually… but the acronym that we have used would not make quite as much sense if it were S.I.M.P.L.E now would it 😉
Image*******
Anyway…
The objective of this section is to ensure that you know how to exactly predict your strike and trajectory and how to actually practice it before you pull the trigger over the ball.
This of it as a mulligan on steroids!
It’s quite a weapon.
Some of the key points we are going to discuss are;
- You have to make a practice swing with real intention
- Let the Picture predict your swing
- Goldilock your swing to match shot/intermediate
- Smooth and balanced
- The club changes the swing plane
- Positions kill
- More than a practice swing.. It’s a rehearsal and can be a Mulligan
- Don’t let your brain take over
There are of course mechanics like rotation, arm fold, tempo, hip turn, leg movement.. But for now I want you to forget all that for the most part.
Let the Picture predict your swing
Does the practice swing still feel like you are matched to the shot you called?
What on earth do I mean by this?
It seems that most golfers and you being one of them try and make a perfect, arbitrary swing.
No let’s presume you are being a smart and well behaved simple golfer and have now learned and executed the first 3 steps of the S.I.M.P.L.E process…
You have a club in your hand…
Does it not make sense to produce a swing that is specific to the exact shot you are intending (or hoping if you are not that confident) instead of just “your swing”
You see you have to tell you brain where you want the ball to go… we do that in the strategy and painting the picture there…
Then we ensure we are lined up and set up matches it.
DO NOT JUST GIVE YOUR SWING UP TO CHANCE.
It really does not take much to feel a swing that delivers the motion to adhere to the steps before.
It’s so important I cannot emphasise enough.
if you do have a normal set of irons, you will swing in a different plane and feel with each.
The main point of this lesson is that each swing and each club will have a different feel and “position”…
And with there being millions of golf shots and on the course every single one unique… you are much better off to tap into the ability of creating a swing specific to the strategy and strike you want, with that particular club.
Goldilocks Feel is key here – You have to swing with intention. So every shot you have, I want you to remember goldilocks.
Too strong, to weak and just right.
It applies to distance, feel and shot shape etc. Think of it as dialing in your swing specifically to that shot.
STRIKE REHEARSAL MULLIGAN
Mulligan Every Shot
You have heard of mulligans in golf.. well, if you try this golf tip on the course, you can get as close as possible to giving yourself a mulligan on every shot you make.
Simple golf strategy and intent is so important on all golf shots. If you have been with us a while you know we talk about the simple process the strategy the intermediate point matching the setup you know predicting your practice swing letting go and evaluating.
Today I want to cover the predicting now a lot of you will do a practice swing but not really have any real intention about what you are trying to accomplish with it you.
Too many golfers waste practice swings/. Use them properly and your scores and consistency will jump to new levels.
You see, when you take a practice swing you need to focus on something when on a golf course or even on the practice range.
When you are on the course it’s important to make your practice swings count for every shot.
Like a close to real time rehearsal.
This is key to better golf, more consistent golf shots that are accurate and powerful.
Pretty much every golfer out there makes this simple golf mistake but when you do hit something like a leaf or a twig on your practice swing you do something crucial in your golfing brain to dial in your objective and help your coordination to square the clubface correctly.
Studies and science have proven how crucial this is and it will make a huge difference to your golf shots instantly. And the great thing is, it’s so simple to do.
All that needs to occur is in each practice swing you make, ensure you focus on these 2 things for your best golf.
1) pick your target and ball flight plan and feel what swing you need to do to create that.
2) Find something on the ground, a teepee, leaf, darker blade of grass, whatever really.
Now execute both during your practice swing focus and feel the flight and then strike the object. You must hit something and your results will be better on the course immediately.
So there we have the final part of the P for predict and practice in the SIMPLE process.
What happens now you have done the mulligan, the real worthy practice swing…
It’s time to LET GO!
SHORT GAME
Goldilocks knew that it took three tries to get it just right and so it makes perfect sense to me, to apply this in golf instruction.
So try this simple golf tip for your short game and swing too short, too long and then just right for the distances and your brain, if you allow it will tell your body and hands the precise weight and length of the shot you need for the distance and club choice you have.
Here’s a video with demonstrating it on a short shot…

THE WHY AND HOW OF LETTING GO
“L” is to let go and be free in your swing without worry.
Why is letting go so crucial?
We often try too damn hard to achieve things in life. We hold on too tight the outcome and desire we have… and in golf the same thing happens….
Are you a golfer who freezes over the ball?
Perhaps you’re trying to be too perfect or you want all your lines and angles to be perfect before you actually pull the trigger.
You might be focusing too much on a negative outcome. For example, you might be thinking about, don’t miss the green, don’t plug it in the bunker. Don’t hit it out of bounds. So thinking about outcome can keep you trapped over the ball as well.
There’s many different breakdowns from indecision, from thinking about outcome, or just over analyzing your swing, wanting everything to be perfect.
Maybe you’re running through that checklist over the ball in terms of mechanics.
So what can you do to help improve this particular issue?
My recommendation is that you have to start working on a routine… A SIMPLE routine.
Now that routine isn’t just about how many times you look and waggle.
I really want you to not think about that, because the more you think about the minutiae, you focus if off thee FEEL of the swing and shot you want to hit.
You have to trust the strategy to initially chose and the intent of your practice swing.
The next step is to just go!
Don’t over think after that point OR your brain will take over and cause confusion…You have to learn to let it go.
The concept I want you to heed right now is the power, the unbelievable power of letting go.
You see with the law of attraction, in so many different forms of life… the more we olf on to something, the more it wants to escape. Love, money life.
Same with negative thoughts and fear.. The grow.
When you focus on something it expands.. negativity and amplifies.
The more you fight for.. the more it expands.
So how on earth does this reply to your golf game?
Well…
Once you have followed the process up to now..
Just to recap, (but if you have been doing as i’ve told you and absorbing each lesson and module.. And actually going out and applying it, embedding it into your golf as a staple you will be)
- Strategy
- Intermediate point
- Match set up
- Predict and practice the feel
And now …
Let it go!
You can’t force it.. You have to let go to give yourself the chance to release into the target and have the freedom.
Might seem a bit dramatic, but it’s crucial
Here is where you stay on task and resist the distractions your racing mind is you with: all the possible things that could go wrong; the many ways you could hit or mess-up the shot; past failures, etc, etc.
Here’s something to do in this let go moment but I want you to practice on the range, chipping area or putting green first before trying on the course.
Take a deep, abdominal breath inhaling slowly to a count of three, holding briefly, then exhaling slowly to a count of four.
As you inhale, imagine the soothing breath calming you.
As you exhale, imagine the released breath expelling your tension.
When you get to the count of four with your exhale, immediately picture the ideal shot and result for the chip, pitch or putt you want to produce that you chose in the Strategy.
Practice this until you can simply walk up to the ball, relax and visualize the shot you want to hit without the mental noise and really feel it.
FEEL the shot in a relaxed state.
Read and know that again.
FEEL the shot in a relaxed state.
Then just go…
Now I want to discuss the key points in the execution of a shot.
- Tension kills!
- Pausing too long over the ball
- No trigger to start momentum
- Tempo is key
- Stay with your shot
These are the elements that are crucial in every single golf shot.
Not just stand, hope and swing.
You need to apply it if you can on every drive, iron, wedge or putt.
EXECUTE WITHOUT FREEZING
But Alex. the swing needs to have certain positions to be on plane, the correct positions make consistency better no?
Yes…. And NO!
You have to understand that it is nigh on impossible to always put your body into specific places every time.
Think about this for a minute….
One of the very best most long term career golfers that spring to mind are;
Fred Couples;
“Everybody teaches a system. I just try to shoot where I’m aiming. I play by sight and feel not by technical thoughts.” ~ Fred Couples
But what does that mean for you?
You are not a tour pro. Well maybe you are… if so great! This still applies to you;)
If you play and swing more to your instincts and reacting to the task… you wont need to try so hard to place your swing into “perfect position”
Golf is not about a golf swing… It’s about a reaction
Think of it as “reactive golf”
Don’t place your hands into positions, let your body and swing react.
if you struggle with finding any available time to commit to golf and you are a bit confused with conflicted, complicated golf instruction I would bet that you do not think that the golf swing and this game can be made to feel easy.
Now we have to evaluate the shot, not just the result, but this is where you become your own coach…

ASK DID YOU FOLLOW THE PROCESS EVERY SHOT?
After each shot you hit, be it a drive, iron, wedge or putt you must evaluate how you did.
What is the measure?
Of course the result is one measure.
A straight drive is somewhat better than a skyed shot into the trees
20 Seconds is all it takes to improve your golf game…
Well..
That’s what I would be saying if this was one of the painful marketing ads promising the world.
But let me be real…
You know you must do all the steps prior to this.
S.I.M.P.L… NOW WE HAVE THE E.
E For Evaluate.
Evaluate whether you followed each of the steps correctly..
And a little bit more on top.
And I am telling you. This alone is massive.
This will really help you learn and improve ever singe golf shot.
Shit or great. Straight or sliced.
You need to assess WHY a shot went where it did… and if you executed each letter correctly and ultimately stayed on task.
Here is the kicker…
Most of the time you won’t!!!
Now, don’t get pissy at me thinking all of this has been a waste of time. It hasn’t . It’s just being realistic that you won’t do each part well every time.
You might not have matched your set up well enough, your swing may have blacked out at the last second and tense up.
You may have worried about a swing position or doubted you read the green right… Whatever it may be. It happens. BUT the key is to know when it happened and why. So you make a little more effort next time.
So where in the S.I.M.P.L.E process did you succeed or falter.?
Aim for 10 to full completion in a round to begin with.
Then up to 20.
Then 40+
Then aim for every shot.
Slow and steady focus and improvement.
*Remember though, as discussed in the introduction I want you to embed each phase to be natural first, before you add the next.
WRAPPING UP AND SUMMARY
DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, COMMENTS OR IDEAS ON THIS SERIES?
JOIN THE DISCUSSION BELOW…
Well I hope you enjoyed that after you absorb the info, apply at least one of the letters, the S.I.M.P.L.E process can work like magic. If you have any questions about any of the sections, let me know here!
Hi Alex– Just a quick note. I took the wife and kids to the park yesterday and grabbed a wedge and a few balls to practice with. Every time I lined up to hit a ball, I established my strategy and intermediate point before I swung the club. I was blown away at how accurate I was able to be just by thinking it through. I’ve been playing golf since I was 10 years old, which is now 30 years ago. I’ve been thinking about the wrong things for decades! Thanks for your videos, they really do make a difference. I’m excited to get out and play this week.
It’s almost annoying isn’t it! We all wish we had been taught this sooner and stuck with it. Everything follows it really.. Keep going and keep us posted. Well done!
Great Job
Hi Alex, just started this series and am loving it. Now it’s about practicing with intent.
One Q about intermediate point and fades/draws. I am aiming the club to the desired end point. If I am using an alignment stick, should it point to that same place (vs being aligned with my setup)?
You want your set up to be parallel to the intermediate point if you are wanting neutral shot shape 🙂
Hey Alex,
Love S.I.M.P.L.E. Process a whole bunch. I started with this series first any suggestions on the next series to view next?
Thank you in advance.
Hi , glad to hear it. Well it depends on what you want to feel most confident about. Most need reminders and improving your set-up consistency etc. Driving, more flow in your swing, short game, just going on at actually playing better like the Breakthrough series or on course reality… Maybe you are confused with backswing.. so try that if applicable. But stick to whatever you do.
Wow Alex, I have been applying the SIMPLE process in the past 6 rounds of golf, I find that my
mental game has improved a lot! Now my focus is more on the shot shape and the intermediate point
rather than worrying about my swings and positions! Thank a lots for helping me to improve my game!
Excellent and it’s so true. I only wish more folks realized how powerful this is to ones golf game. Keep at it!
Hi Alex,
I had a two over back nine about six months ago and have been trying to replicate what had happened that day and the frustration and expectation of not being able to so. After going through the videos presented in your SIMPLE process, i now realise that for part of that round i must have been applying some of those techniques. Thank you so much and now i am very much looking to begin applying every part of SIMPLE to all my golf practice and rounds going forward.
Hey Alex,
This step by step process is priceless! I had no idea how much I was shooting myself in the foot every time I stepped onto the course. The LOA really has been working for me in the opposite direction. Time to let go and Breathe!
commit and let go is my problem thinking too much
